Sit your baby on your lap and place the padded ring around the back of the head, just above the ears. Adjust the crown strap first so the padding sits flat, then tie the chin straps in a loose bow - you should fit two fingers between the strap and the chin.
Use it for floor play, cruising and walking practice. Take it off for naps and for the car seat. Hand wash in cool water and air dry.
